We have been on a search for the best & affordable AYCE sushi restaurant & I think we finally found one that is better than Asahi - Yama Sushi! AYCE appetizers, sushi, & dessert (kind of) for $23.95! SCORE!

Appetizers: 2 orders of edamame, 1 dynamite scallops, 1 sesame chicken, 1 seafood salad, 2 orders of soft shell crab, & 4 orders of baked green mussels.

OMG, my favorite dish here. This is the definition of “orgasm in the mouth!!” It was super crispy & fried on the outside, followed by a steaming, perfectly cooked mussel in the inside, all smothered with delicious sauce! THIS IS WHY I  LOVE WITH FOOD.

My second favorite dish! The “salad” consisted of an array of sashimi, shrimp, and squid drenched in this spicy/sour sauce. Probably the closest you will get to sashimi, so it was a win.

SUSHI: 1 order of uni, 1 eel, 2 orders of quail egg, 2 tuna, 3 orders of yellowtail, 4 orders of salmon, 4 red snapper, & 1 spicy yellowtail hand roll.

Everything tasted very fresh & the handroll was good! Our only complaints would be: 1) there was too much rice, & 2) the fish was cut too thin.

ROLLS: 1 sun of the beach, 1 no name, 1 snow in vegas, & 1 dancing in the sheet.

Must try the no name. YUM.

DESSERT: 1 plum ice cream, 2 green tea, 2 red bean, 1 strawberry mochi, & 3 mango.

Green tea was not too sweet if you’re into that, the red bean is good for those who like red bean, and the plum I honestly do not believe is plum - I had pieces of apricot in the ice cream - but it very sweet and tasty. The mochi is AWESOME! I loved the mango - most mango mochi I’ve tasted are tarty & fruity, but these ones were light & subtle. Technically, dessert is not AYCE, but we got away with a 2nd round :) Dessert definiltely secured this place as my #1 sushi restaurant by a mile.

I wish I ate more! Honestly, nothing tasted worse than good. I highly recommend coming here, especially if you are already in Vegas & about to go eat at a buffet. I cannot wait to go again!
