OC: Todai
Momma treated us out to Todai for lunch, $16 per person on the weekdays.

Started off with some hot dishes. Got seconds on the steak (yum, soft & juicy), a seafood array of squids, shrimps, scallop, & zucchini’s (the sauce was good), and the fish. Teddy liked the crab cakes, but that just ain’t my thing. Everything else was okay-good, nothing horrible.

Udon soup - ehh. I never liked udon soup because of Todai back in the days, and now I love it because of Rio’s udon soup. Now I’m back to square one…

My healthy dish! Go with the cucumbers in vinegar, sashimi salad, chicken salad (yummm cabbage for the win), & spinach salad, Skip the edamame (tasted old) & tofu with bean curd (ew).

Time for sushi! Not having to eat the rice, ftw! Most of them were good. The fish were a little warm and thin, but that is okay. We really liked the salmon & the salmon tataki. They also have “lobster” rolls, but not sure if the lobster was real or not. Also, go for the salmon skin handroll!

The chocolate pudding (not shown) is my favorite; Teddy really likes the white chocolates, enough to even take 5 of them home… everything else is okay. Unfortunately, they only have crepes and ice cream at dinner. And lobster tails <_<
This place used to be better for me, but this time around was better for Teddy. Guess you will just have to find out for yourself :P I think it also depends on the location and when you go/if the food is fresh or not.
