We’ve been on a bit of a shabu binge lately. Can’t get enough of it! Recently we’ve been to Ichi Ichi, California Shabu and now finally just visited Red Pot for AYCE :D. Red Pot has the classic herb shabu (spicy herb in our case). We tried that broth and a curry broth. The spicy herb definitely won out and has that classic shabu smell and taste. You have three “rounds” to order food.. but however much you mark is just kind of generic, since they’ll just bring you a few slices of meat no matter how many you mark for them to bring out. The service was pretty good here; they were attentive and we were spoken to kindly. I’m pretty pleased with this place because they had a decent selection of food you could put it, from calamari to lamb and pork. Nom nom.
